This Saturday marks a milestone I’ve been dreaming about since I first started making music – I’m crossing the Finnish border to play my very first international gig at Blue Shell in Cologne, Germany.
Blue Shell isn’t just any venue. This legendary club has been a cornerstone of Cologne’s music scene since 1979, known for its dark blue walls, neon-lit atmosphere, and its reputation as home to music, art, and the city’s alternative culture. It’s the kind of place where countless artists have cut their teeth, and now it’s my turn.
I’ll be sharing the stage in Neon Paradise with Ace Buchannon, DJ BRU and Levinsky for what promises to be an unforgettable night of synth-driven sounds and electric energy. There’s something surreal about seeing your name on an event outside your own borders – it feels both exciting and slightly nerve-wracking in the best possible way.
The journey from Finland to Germany feels symbolic somehow. This isn’t just about playing music in another country; it’s about connecting with a wider audience, testing myself in new territory, and taking the next step in this wild adventure called being a musician.
So if you’re in Cologne this Saturday, come through. Let’s make this first one count.
See you at Blue Shell.
